CAN I BUY A RESIDENTIAL UNIT AT THE GOLDEN ESTATE?

No, residential units at TGE are available on a security-deposit model (short-term and long-term stay) and do not involve the sale or purchase of real estate.

DOES TGE PROVIDE ASSISTED LIVING?

Yes, TGE provides both Assisted Living and Independent Living.

WHAT IS THE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE AT TGE?

Fill out the application form (available via email or at the office).
The submitted form is reviewed by a screening committee; additional verification may be required.
Undergo a medical examination to ensure fitness.
Choose a unit and execute the agreement.
Required documents are listed in the application form.

BEFORE CONSIDERING MOVING IN, IS IT POSSIBLE TO EXAMINE COPIES OF THE LEASE DEED AND SERVICE AGREEMENT?

Payments & Security Deposit

CAN I PAY THE SECURITY DEPOSIT AND SUBLET MY LIVING UNIT?

No, subletting is not allowed.

WILL THE MONTHLY CHARGES STAY THE SAME? WHEN WILL YOU INCREASE THEM?

Monthly charges and recurring costs are revised periodically, usually on a yearly basis.

HOW WILL YOU REFUND MY SECURITY DEPOSIT?

After settlement, return of the agreement copy, and unit vacation, the security deposit is refunded via “account payee” cheque or bank transfer to you or your nominee within 21 working days.

CAN I STAY IN THE UNIT FOR ONLY A FEW MONTHS OF THE YEAR? WILL I STILL HAVE TO PAY THE MONTHLY CHARGES?

Yes, you may stay as per your convenience. If absences exceed 30 days, charges for food and consumables aren’t payable, but fixed monthly charges still apply.

CAN I BRING MY OWN DOMESTIC HELP?

No, personal domestic help is not allowed—TGE caters to all your needs.

CAN I SMOKE OR CONSUME ALCOHOL WITHIN THE FACILITY?

Smoking and alcohol consumption are not permitted in common areas but are allowed within your residential unit.

SINCE I DON’T HAVE ANY LEGAL HEIRS, CAN I NOMINATE A CHARITY FOR MY SECURITY DEPOSIT?

Yes, that is possible.

CAN I KEEP PETS AT TGE?

No, pets are not allowed, as part of the “no-pet” policy.

IS THE FACILITY MEANT ONLY FOR COUPLES OR CAN SINGLES ALSO LIVE HERE?

Both singles and couples are welcome.

CAN I HOST A PERSONAL PARTY AT TGE?

Yes, with one-day advance notice, the F&B team can help arrange a personal party—even including other residents if desired.

IS THERE WIFI IN THE FACILITY?

Yes, TGE is Wi-Fi enabled.

IS THE KITCHEN OPEN ROUND-THE-CLOCK?

No, the kitchen operates on fixed hours, though F&B staff are available 24×7 for emergencies or special needs.

DO YOU HAVE ROOM SERVICE?

Room service is available only in medical situations or under special circumstances.

Units come fully furnished, but personal decorative items are allowed.
